40 DAYS OF PRAYER (2021)

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Day 04 – The Present Opportunity

Father God! Despite of all the surrounding challenges and crisis, I want to imitate Esther, to seize the opportunity given today, to face difficulties and to experience breakthrough. To make good use of the role given by God, to stand faithfully at the post, to commit and sacrifice, to fast and pray seeking wisdom from God, to turn crisis into victory.

We pray for God to bless all the EFC churches, organizations, and seminary, to have faith like Joshua and Caleb, to lead brothers and sisters into the promised land. While things seemed to have come to a stop globally, may we be like Isaac to dig a well flowing of living water, continue to sow the seeds and prepare to receive a hundred fold in 2021.

May God’s merciful hands help us, to fight for us. Just like back in Nehemiah’s time, despite of all the ridicule, attack, and threat by his enemies, he continued to work while holding weapon on one hand, resulting in fulfilling the purpose God has called him for. We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-10)
