Loving Heavenly Father, Creator of Universe, Lord Jesus my Savior, and Holy Spirit my Guidance.
During this difficult time with the pandemic, the church encountered unprecedented challenge where the door to the sanctuary could not be opened. Everyone’s focus is on self preserving, there is a constant fear of being infected. While I often mention in prayers that God is the One who created the universe, yet it is more out of habit and not based on how I live. It is as if there is a lack in believing that God is mighty and powerful. May You help to remove my weakness and despair at this very moment, allowing everyone brother and sister who depend on You to believe in Your mighty powerful, for You control all things in this world.
May God lead every brother and sister to face challenges with courage, As Deuteronomy 8:2 writes, “And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.” Just like what the Scripture says, the Lord might allow the Israelites (Christians) to go through trials; however, the trials are just like the “Litmus Test” for the spiritual life. When facing health situations, career pressures, anxieties and different factors, may the Lord give strength to those who fully depend on You.
May the Lord give us boldness to take advantage of every opportunity to proclaim the gospel of the Lord. May the Lord inspire every brother and sister who depend on You, to not only self-protect, but to take a step towards reaching the lost. Despite facing trials, we will experience God’s glory! “The Lord sits enthroned over the flood, the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.” (Psalm 29:10)
Pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.
