40 DAYS OF PRAYER (2021)

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Day 37 – Serve the Lord in the Day

Dear Lord Jesus,

Your words often remind us in times of trouble:

“We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.” (John 9:4)

Despite the severity of the pandemic and the amount of impact done to nations, we still praise and thank the Lord, for it is by God’s grace that it is still day and we still have opportunities, there is still a way to repent, and therefore, we continue to do the work given by our Creator, the One who rescued us from sin, and the One who had chosen us to proclaim the good news. Before the arrival of judgment in the night, may we continue to sow the seeds of the gospel. May the Lord grant us divine strength, what you have loosen in heaven, may You also loosen on earth for the sake of Your salvation. (Matthew 18:18)

May God continue to grant opportunities to churches and believers all over the world, to use us in our nations, open the door of the gospel in our communities, allow those who were self-confident to humbly come before Your presence through the pandemic, allow them to see with their eyes the condition without God, allow them to hear with their ears encouraging words from above, allow us to realize just how far away we are from our loving God. As people turn to seek Your face, Lord, may You heal them, not only with their physical illnesses, but also to restore our relationship with our loving God. (Matthew 13:15)

Pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
