About Us
Evangelical Formosan Church is a Christian church established in 1970 in Los Angeles, California. Started as a small Taiwanese speaking congregation, over the years the church planted numerous church communities all around the world, and has since evolved into a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, and multi-generational church.
Currently there are 140 EFC Church Communities in 4 continents, 10 countries, worshipping in Taiwanese, Mandarin, English, Spanish, and Tagalog.

To glorify God by growing a biblical, Christ-centered church that unifies and nourishes her members while making disciples of all nations.
EFC Spirit
We encourage EFCers with this statement – “Do not touch ministry without praying.” We believe that without praying the church could not be in harmony; pastor and coworkers could not share the same yoke without praying together. Church members could not see and understand the Heavenly vision without praying. Praying together before the Sunday Service, praying together before the small group meetings, and praying together every time and everywhere. Receive the vision in prayer, and the power to fulfill the vision.
