We are deeply saddened learning the tragic accident involving Taroko Express train near Qingshui Cliff in Hualien, Taiwan on April 2nd, resulting in the death of at least 50 people, injuring around 180 others.
On behalf of the EFC General Assembly, we express our deepest condolences to all the individuals and families impacted by this horrific tragedy. At the same time, we encourage all EFC churches to pray for the individuals, families, first responders, and the search and rescue command center personnels. May our Heavenly Father grant strength in a time such as this, allowing all that have been impacted to receive much needed comfort and peace.
